PM chairs a meeting on flood-caused effect on the economy and strategy to win back investors´ trusts
Prime Ministry Yingluck Shinawatra chaired a meeting with government and private sectors to discuss the flood-caused effect on the economy and the strategy to win back trusts among investors.
The meeting's main objective was to raise discussions among government sector and private sector over the subject of economic effect of the flood disaster.
Participants include Mr Kittiratt Na Ranong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, Industry Minister MD Wannarat Channukul, Finance Minister Teerachai Puwanartnaranubala, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) Payungsak Chartsutipol,, representatives from the Board of Investment of Thailand and the governors of Bang Kadi and Hi-Tech Industrial Estates.
In the meeting, the subjects to be discussed consist of the effect of the deluge on the Thai economy and the measures to rehabilitate the economy which in turn relate to the expansion of Thai economy, as well as the strategies to regain trusts from investors. Mr Kittiratt will take charge of declaring the resolutions to the media after the meeting.
